Manifesting Your Spirit, the second step in the Way of the Warrior Series, continues to proclaim the eternal perspective of the kingdom of Christ. Cooke excels in the prophetic expression of what I think is the Holy Spirit's inspiration to believers. This book appeals to readers to step up boldly in faith to the battle to which we are called; it also calls us into intimacy with Jesus, our king and victor. Cooke offers a revelatory guide to the paradoxical way of life in God's kingdom on earth...we may suffer, but we are victorious -- our enemy has been defeated by our ever-present Conqueror.
As a Warrior in God's kingdom, it may seem ironic that, as Cooke writes, "intimacy must be the highest priority of life in the Spirit." We are warriors called into intimacy with our hero. Cooke's book facilitates overcoming through intimacy.
Cooke writes the following to emphasize the point: "We are not designed to have merely functional relationships in the Kingdom. God is highly relational, and so intimacy must be the highest priority of life in the Spirit...The biggest battle in the church at this time is the battle for intimacy with God."

Life-changing!

Although I just started "Manifesting Your Spirit", I'm as captivated with it as I was with "Qualities Of A Spiritual Warrior". I'm learning how to dig deeper so that God can cleanse me deeper. One has to have a hunger and thirst that will not be satisfied with anything less than all of God, and a drive to press in. I love to soak in the Presence of the Lord. He changes me and speaks to me. Nothing else in life matters but Him, in those times. I believe it's possible to live every day in that complete peace of His presence.
I am a more godly example to a hurting world when I am in a state of God's peace and joy, unmoved by circumstances. THAT is what will draw people to us, to the light of Christ in us. We have to be different in order to be attractive to the world. We have to possess something they desperately want for themselves.
Corrie and Betsie Ten Boom possessed warrior qualities, though in a concentration camp, as described in "The Hiding Place". The Lord has revealed things to Graham Cooke that he revealed to Corrie and Betsie; things worthy of searching out for ones self.
